Visit the royal castle of the family Thurn and Taxis and learn all about the history and life-style of the eminent princess Gloria of Thurn and Taxis and her family. The treasures of the royal household can still be admired today.
Enjoy a visit of the neo-classical hall of fame, the Walhalla, in the near vicinity of Regensburg, only a short boat ride away. Between the years 1830 and 1842 the Bavarian King Ludwig had this hall of honor and fame erected, modelled on the Parthenon in Greece. View the majestic beauty of this edifice surmounting the banks of the Danube. From afar it signals to the visitor that he is about to explore not only an exceptionally beautiful area but also a historically significant place.

Luscious three course evening meal - third day:
Delicious breakfast buffet with foods galore to chose from!
Visit of the royal caste and the cloister of St. Emmeram. See the official
reception halls and the personal living quarters in the outer east and south
wings adorned with the magnificent artifice and art of the 18th and
especially the 19th century. Visit the ambulatory of St. Emmeram, the former
Benedictine cloister, dating from the years 1170-1390.
